1. In a small pan, heat milk just until bubbles form around edge of pan; remove from heat
- Yeast Dough:
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup warm water (105 to 115F)
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 egg
- 2 1/2 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
- Filling:
- Butter, softened
- light-brown sugar
- 1/2 cup pecan halves
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 t. ground cinnamon
Stuffed Summer Squash

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)
- 4 teaspoons olive oil, divided
- 4 ounces Merguez sausage, (about 2) casing removed and meat crumbled
- (If you can't find merguez, a spicy fresh lamb sausage, use fresh chorizo, Italian sausage or your favorite sausage.
- 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
- 2 ounces fresh goat cheese, crumbled (scant 1/2 cup)
- 2 zuchinni (about 6 ounces each)
- 1/2 salt
- 1 tablespoon dry bread crumbs, or more as needed
- 4 teaspoons olive oil

- 2 cups coconut milk
- 1-1/2 cups half-and-half cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1-1/2 cups flaked coconut, toasted, divided
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
French Silk Chocolate Pie

1. Whip cream: With electric mixer on medium-high speed, whip cream to stiff peaks, 2 to 3 minutes
- 1 cup heavy cream, chilled
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 8 ounces bittersweet chocolate, melted and cooled
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch pieces and softened
