Midwest Salisbury Steak

"I was tired of boring, tasteless Salisbury steak recipes, so I created this one myself
- Patties:
- 1 pound ground sirloin
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Gravy:
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 sweet onion, sliced
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
- 1 1/2 cups beef stock
- 1 cup water
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Kansas City Barbecue Sauce

makes 6 cups In a large sauce pan over medium heat combine all ingredients
- 20 ounces ketchup
- 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 1 1/4 cups dark brown sugar
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup molasses (unsulfured)
- 2 chipotle peppers, diced (from chipotle pepper in adobo sauce)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Slow Cooker Reuben Dip

In a slow cooker, combine the sauerkraut, cream cheese, Swiss cheese, corned beef and thousand island dressing
- 1 (16 ounce) jar sauerkraut, drained
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
- 2 cups shredded cooked corned beef
- 1/4 cup thousand island dressing
German Apple Streusel Kuchen

- 300 g 2 cups flour
- 200 g 1 Cup butter
- 100 g 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg

- For the Streusel (crumbles):

Instructions Cook pasta according to package directions
- 8 oz rotini or bow tie pasta
- 1 (14oz) can pineapple tidbits, juice reserved
- 1 red pepper, diced
- 2 cups diced ham
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise or dressing
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1/3 cup pineapple juice
- 1 teaspoon cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- black pepper to taste
