In a piece of cheesecloth, add the peppercorns, cloves, 6 parsley stems and thyme
- 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1 bunch parsley (6 stems reserved, 1/3 cup leaves finely chopped)
- 1 small bundle thyme
- 4 pound eye of round roast
- 2 cups red wine
- 2 cups red wine vinegar
- 2 small yellow onions (thinly sliced)
- 2 carrots (peeled and thinly sliced on a bias)
- 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 slices thick-sliced bacon (medium diced, about 1 heaping cup)

- 8 ounces half of a 16 oz. bag powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons melted butter

- 1 quart strawberries, divided (for 9 inch pie) -or- 2 quarts strawberries, divided (for 10 inch pie)
- 1 cup water, divided
- 1/2 cup raspberries, mashed
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon real vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Pretzel Ring Beer Cheese Dip

- 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar, plus more for sprinkling
- 1/2 c. grated mozzarella
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp. chopped chives, plus more for garnish
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 c. beer (we used Sierra Nevada, but I've also used Guinness)
- 1/4 tsp. Freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp. baking soda
- 1 can Pillsbury Grands biscuits
- Egg wash, for brushing biscuits
- Coarse salt, for sprinkling
