- 2-1/4 cup white sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1-1/8 cup oil
- 3 cups flour
- 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1-1/2 cup milk
- 1-1/2 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1-1/2 teaspoon almond flavor
- 1-1/2 teaspoon butter
- 1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring
- 1/2 teaspoon butter flavoring
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Morning Glory Muffins

Preheat oven to 350°. Place 18 muffin cups liners in muffin cups; coat liners with cooking spray
- Cooking spray
- 1 cup whole wheat flour (about 4 3/4 ounces)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (about 2 1/4 ounces)
- 1 cup regular oats
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon wheat bran
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup plain fat-free yogurt
- 1 cup mashed ripe banana (about 2)
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup chopped pitted dates
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup chopped dried pineapple
- 3 tablespoons ground flaxseed (about 2 tablespoons whole)

- 1/2 cup milk
- 2-1/2 cups cooked white rice or wild rice
- 2 cups cubed cooked chicken
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1/3 cup chopped bottled roasted red sweet peppers
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted (optional)
- 1 Tbsp. snipped fresh basil or 1/2 tsp. dried basil, crushed

- 1 large vanilla bean, scraped
- 1 cup sugar
- 10 egg yolks
- 1 cup pecan pieces, lightly toasted and cooled, plus 1/4 cup of maple syrup to drizzle over the ice cream
- 1 cup dried cherries soaked in 2 tablespoons brandy
- 1 cup ganache (1/2 cup heavy cream brought to a simmer, add 4 ounces finely chopped semisweet chocolate and gently stir until smooth.)
