BEST BUTTERCREAM FROSTING

This delicious, creamy white butter frosting can be easily adapted to feature other flavors
- VARIATIONS:
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 6 cups powdered sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- Chocolate Frosting: Add 2 to 3 squares melted unsweetened baking chocolate.
- Lemon or Orange Frosting: Stir in 1 tablespoon grated lemon or orange peel.
- Coconut Frosting: Stir in 1-1/2 teaspoons coconut extract or flavoring.

In large bowl, beat all ingredients except flour and colored sugar with mixed until light and fluffy
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 package (3 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 cups flour

- 6 medium tomatoes, finely chopped
- 3/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion

- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons Crisco® Olive Oil
- 1 to 2 teaspoons minced jalapeno pepper

- One 15-ounce can black beans (rinsed and drained)
- One 15-ounch can of corn (rinsed and drained)
- 1 tomato (or 3-4 Roma tomatoes) diced
- 1/4 cup of Williams-Sonoma Classic Margarita mix
- 1/2 medium red onion
- 2-3 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 2 teaspoons chili lime rub
- Salt and pepper to taste
