- 2 ounces finely chopped ham

- 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 egg 1 tablespoon milk
- 4 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into 3/4 inch cubes

- CAKE:
- 1-1/2 sticks (3/4 cup) butter, softened
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon each baking soda, salt and vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons (1 oz) liquid red food color
- 2 teaspoon white vinegar
- 2-1/2 cups cake flour (not self-rising)
- FROSTING:
- 2 bricks (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
