  • FRUIT PIE PASTRY:
  • TWISTED INTO CURLS
  • Roll out puff pastry into a rectangle, and spread a thin layer of homemade or store-bought jam on one half. Fold the other half over. Lightly brush with beaten egg, and sprinkle generously with sandin
  • Slice dough into 1/2-inch strips; twist and curl each. Arrange on baking sheet, and freeze for 15 to 20 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees until golden, about 15 minutes.
  • Unbaked jelly curls can be frozen for up to 6 months.
  • Cut out 2 circles of puff pastry, any size. Freeze for 15 minutes. Cut slits across one piece of pastry. Spread berry filling onto remaining dough, leaving 1/2-inch boarder. Place slit dough on top of

Recommend using Dufour classic puff pastry because it is made with butter rather than shortening

  • Wrap a hot dog with dough, and adhere seam with beaten eggs.
  • Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  • Brush with egg.
  • Slice into bite-size pieces.
  • Transfer to a baking sheet, and bake at 400 degrees until golden, about 15 minutes.
  • Serve with mustard.
