Cheese Puff Pie

Line a 9" pie plate with crescent rolls
- 1 can crescent rolls
- 1 8-oz package Brown & Serve sausage
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 4 slices American cheese or provolone
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/2 tsp salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup flour
- 3 egg whites, whipped

Cook eggs, vinegar, butter, sugar, and water together and cool
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 Tbsp vinegar
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 4 Tbsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp water
- 1 pint heavy cream, whipped
- 2 cups pineapple, diced
- 2 cups mandarin oranges
- 2 cups white cherries
- 2 cups marshmallow bits
- A few maraschino cherries
Bean Salad

Drain beans. Combine all ingredients
- 1 can yellow beans
- 1 can green beans
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 5 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 medium onion in rings
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup vinegar
- 1/3 cup oil
Citrus Salad

Combine oil, sugar, lemon peel, lemon juice, and salt in a screw-top jar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp finely shredded lemon peel
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 large oranges peeled and sectioned
- 3 large pink grapefruit, peeled and sectioned
- 1 green onion sliced (about 2 Tbsp)
- 1 Tbsp snipped fresh mint
- 4 cups shredded romaine lettuce
Carrot Soup

Put carrots in pot with bouillon cubes and add water to cover
- 3 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
- 3 beef bouillon cubes
- 2-3 medium onions, chopped
- 1 Tbsp butter
- Cream to taste
- 2 Tbsp sherry, or to taste
Apple Cake

Put apples in ungreased 9" x 13" pan
- 5 cups diced apples
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
Noisy Salad

Toss all ingredients except onions and dressing
- 1 10-oz package fresh spinach
- 1/4 lb bacon, cut in 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 large carrot, pared and sliced
- 4 slices white American or swiss cheese, cut in small squares
- 1 can Durkee french fried onions
- 1/3 cup Italian salad dressing
Lentil Soup

Saute onions in oil. Add garlic, cook until tender
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 1 cup sliced onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 cups water
- 1 14-oz can tomatoes
- 1 cup lentils, rinsed and drained
- 3 tsp beef granules
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup thinly sliced carrots
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Peel of small lemon cut in very thin strips (optional)
Rice Salad

Cook rice with water and salt, drain well, and cool
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups water
- Salt
- 1/2-1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 package Good Seasons dressing mix, dry
- Sliced black olives
- Cheddar cheese, diced
- 1 10-oz package frozen peas, partially defrosted
Marinated Zucchini Salad

Cook sliced zucchini in a small amount of boiling, salted water about 3 minutes or until crisp-tender
- 3 cups sliced zucchini
- 2 medium tomatoes, coarsely chopped
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp thinly sliced green onion
- 1/2 cup white wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup olive oil or salad oil
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp dried basil, crushed
- Pepper to taste
- Lettuce leaves
- Shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese, optional
