I have a really simple lemon curd recipe that I've made for years, using whole eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest, finely grated plus 2/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- 8 large egg yolks (egg whites reserved for another use)
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
- 1 1/4 sticks unsalted butter (10-tablespoons), cut into 1/2-inch pieces

I know, right? Truffle Butter sounds so pretentious
- 1 (12 to 14-pound) fresh turkey, with giblets removed
- 3 ounces white truffle butter, room temperature
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Large bunch fresh thyme
- 1 large onion, unpeeled and cut in eighths
- 1 whole head garlic, unpeeled and cut in half crosswise
- Good olive oil
- Note: I found truffle butter at my local Costco, and it wasn't as expensive as I thought.

- 1 white onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 3 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 clove fresh garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp dried thyme
- 4 Italian sausage links
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 small bunch kale, chopped
- 2 Tbs. tomato paste
- kosher salt & pepper
- 1 small bag dried lentils (red or green)
- (optional) Garnish of fresh Parmesan cheese

1) Ensure that your butter, eggs, and milk are at room temperature so the dough isn’t cold
- 1 1/2 stick butter, room temp (12 Tbsp)
- 3 eggs, room temp
- 1/4 cup whole milk, room temp
- 2/3 cup warm water (between 105 and 110 degrees F)
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp active dry yeast (1 package)
- 4 1/4 cups bread flour (please use bread flour)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp table salt
- 1 egg, whisked with 1 Tbsp water

- CHICKEN BREADING:
- 3 to 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1 1/2 pounds, cut in bite-size pieces)
- 3 eggs (I used two)
- 1/2 cup flour
- CORNSTARCH MIXTURE:
- 1 1/3 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE:
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice (from 20 ounce pineapple tidbits can below)
- 1 cup red wine vinegar (reduce to 3/4 cup)
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons ketchup (6-tablespoons)
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
- VEGETABLE/PINEAPPLES:
- 1 (20-ounce) can pineapple tidbits
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped (we prefer larger chunks and all red bell pepper)
