- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 2 15-oz cans northern beans, drained
- 1 16 oz can green lima beans, drained
- 1 16 oz can dark red kidney beans, drained
- 1 28 oz can pork and beans

- 1 cup V8® 100% Vegetable Juice
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 can (about 15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (about 15 ounces) small white beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (about 8 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 large green or red pepper, chopped (about 1 cup)
- 1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
