- 3 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole wheat flour

- 2 cups bulgur (cracked wheat)

- 4 tsp. salt
- 1 envelope active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 egg, slightly beaten (with 1 tsp. milk)
