Step 1 Cut fish into 4 pieces and season with salt and pepper

  • Thick fillets of any firm, flaky, and mild-flavored fish, such as halibut, haddock, or striped bass, would work well here.
  • 1 skinless, boneless cod fillet (1 1/4 pounds and 1 1/2 inches thick)
  • Coarse salt and ground pepper
  • 12 strips bacon (about 12 ounces total)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sherry vinegar
  • 1 pink grapefruit, peel cut off, flesh cut into segments, juice squeezed from membranes
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 large head frisee, cut into 1-inch pieces

  • 1 C. chopped razor clams (reserve the liquid)
  • 1 bottle flat beer
  • 1 1/2 C. pancake mix
  • 6 green onions - cut very thin, use greens

  • 1 stalk celery - cut very thin
  • I added 2 T grated parmesan to batter and used coconut oil to fry in.

Cook broccoli in boiling salted water (don't let it get over done, keep crunchy) drain

  • Bake @ 350 degrees
  • ( I used to boil the chicken with salt, pepper and garlic salt & parsley and use the broth, but you could use can broth & roast chicken from the store)
  • 2 bunches fresh or 2 10oz boxes frozen broccoli
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth (if canned season with extra spices)
  • 1/2 cup can milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 grated parmesan (I used extra) Fresh parmesan would taste even better.
  • 6 ckn breasts, cooked & thinly sliced
