Chocolate-Caramel Sandwich Cookies

Brush 8x8x2-inch metal baking pan with vegetable oil
- CARAMEL
- 2 1/4 cups sugar
- 1 3/4 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
- 1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise, or 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, diced
- DOUGH
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2/3 cup natural unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, room temperature
- 1 large egg
Beef with Snow Peas

In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, sherry, brown sugar, cornstarch, and ginger
- 1-1/2 pound Flank Steak, Trimmed Of Fat And Sliced Very Thin Against The Grain
- 1/2 cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- 3 Tablespoons Sherry Or Cooking Sherry
- 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Fresh Ginger
- 8 ounces, weight Fresh Snow Peas, Ends Trimmed
- 5 whole Scallions, Cut Into Haf-inch Pieces On The Diagonal
- Salt As Needed (use Sparingly)
- 3 Tablespoons Peanut Or Olive Oil
- Crushed Red Pepper, For Sprinkling
- Jasmine Or Long Grain Rice, Cooked According To Package
Sweet 'N Sticky Hot Dogs

Brush the hot dogs lightly with mustard
- 2 6oz pkgs pastrami
- 16 oz pkg cocktail hot dogs or hot dogs cut into thirds
- 1 cup brown sugar

Spicy Asian Coleslaw

Combine dressing ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth
- Dressing:
- 2 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
- 2 tsp lime juice
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- Coleslaw:
- 1/4 cup slice scallions
- 16 oz coleslaw mix
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 red pepper, thinly slices
- 2 tsp sesame seeds, toasted
- salt and pepper to taste
Fudgy Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Crust:
- 2 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
- Fudge:
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 package (12 oz.) semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup toffee bits
- Cookie:
- 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups packed light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 package (12 oz.) milk chocolate or semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup toffee bits
Turkey Salad

1. Mix dressing ingredients together
- 1 bag Lettuce
- 1 Red onion
- 1 box Cherry tomatoes
- Smoked turkey breast – cubed
- Dressing
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp Mustard
- 4 Tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp Parsley flakes
Homemade Potato Knishes

In the bowl of an electric mixer, combine all dough ingredients
- CRUST
- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 1-3 Tbsp sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp salt
- 8 oz (2 sticks) butter or margarine
- 1 cup lukewarm water
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 3 large egg yolks
- FILLING
- 2 large onions, finely diced and sauteed in vegetable oil
- 5 large Idaho potatos, cooked, peeled and mashed
- 2 eggs
- 1/2-1 Tbsp salt (to taste)
- 1/4-1 tsp black pepper (to taste)
- TOPPING
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- sesame seeds, for sprinkling
Homemade Taco Seasoning
