Brown ground beef in a medium skillet over medium-high heat

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 2 3/4 cups tomato juice or water
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 pkg. Spaghetti Seasoning Mix (see recipe in this book)
  • SPAGHETTI SEASONING MIX
  • (makes great lasagna and pizza sauce too)
  • 1 Tbl. instant minced onion 1/4 tsp. instant minced gar.
  • 1 Tbl. parsley flakes 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbl. cornstarch 3/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp green pepper flakes 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • Combine all ingredients and store in cool dry place. Use within 6 months. Makes 1 pkg. Use for Spaghetti Sauce recipe
