Funeral Potatoes

Bake at 325° for 30 minutes
- Heat and pour over top of potatoes:
- 7 Medium potatoes cooked, shredded or cubed
- (or use frozen, I prefer Or-Ida, hash browns thawed)
- Put potatoes in a buttered 9 x 13.
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 pint sour cream
- 1 cup finely chopped onions
- 1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar
- 2 Tbl. butter
- Stir together and crumble on top:
- 1 cup crushed corn flakes
- 2 Tbls. melted butter
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
Buttermilk Sauce/Syrup

- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. White Karo
- 1 cube butter
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
French Toast-Baked Caramel - Shanna

- French Toast:
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 6 T margarine or butter
- 1/3 cup evap. milk
- 1 T light corn syrup
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup evap. milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 8 slices French Bread
Cilantro-lime Rice

In a saucepan combine rice, butter, garlic, 1 tsp lime, chicken broth and water
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1 tsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 can (15ox) chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 TBL freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 tsp sugar
- 3 TBL fresh chopped cilantro
Cheesy Ham Biscuit Pull Aparts

Heat oven to 350 degrees
- 1 (16.3 oz) Pillsbury Grands Flaky Layers Biscuits (I used the buttery flavor).
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 3/4 cup diced ham
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar
- 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
Banana Bran Muffins - Karen J

Preheat oven to 375°. Cream butter, sugar, and eggs
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup all bran buds
- 1 1/2 cups bran flakes crushed
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 cups flour (can use half wheat)
- 1 1/2 ripe mashed bananas
Poppyseed Dressing

Put in bottle and shake and refrigerate
- 1/2 c mayo
- 2 T white vinegar
- 1/3 c sugar
- 1 t poppy seeds
English Toffee - Marsha Herron

Use heavy deep pan. Cook 1 ¼ cup sugar until warm (med/hi heat)
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cube margarine
- 1 cube butter
- 2 TBL water
- chocolate chips
- chopped nuts
Bratten's Clam Chowder

Drain clam juice and pour over vegetables in saucepan
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 cup finely diced celery
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 2 can chopped clams
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 1 quart half & half milk
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt, dash pepper
Homemade Mac and Cheese - Annette

Boil macaroni in one pan. Warm milk in microwave
- 1/2 square butter 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp. salt 2 1/2 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded cheese 3 cups dry macaroni
