- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger-root

- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 3 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
Sweet Summer Smoothie

Creamy Chicken on Linquine

In a large saute pan, heat oil, butter and garlic over medium heat
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 1 (16 ounce) package linguini pasta
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cube chicken bouillon, crumbled
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
- 3/4 cup milk
- 4 green onions, sliced diagonally into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- 2 pears, cored and thinly sliced
- 1 cup diet lemon-lime soda
- 4 cups baby spinach leaves
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 cup toasted pine nuts
- 1/2 cup raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing

1.Dissolve yeast in the water; stir in the sugar and beat in 2 1/2 cups of rice flour to make a soft sponge
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups lukewarm water
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 4 1/2 cups rice flour, divided
- 1/2 cup solid vegetable shortening, divided
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 clove garlic, chopped, or to taste
- 1 1/2 pounds shredded cooked chicken meat
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons white sugar
- 1/2 cup diced green onion
- 1 pinch salt and black pepper to taste

You and Me Chicken Pot Pies

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Cooking spray
- 1 1/4 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2 inch chunks
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 2 leeks, bottom 4 inches only, washed well and chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 2 medium potatoes cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1/2 pound green beans, trimmed and chopped into 1/2 inch pieces
- 2 gloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups low-fat milk
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
- 1 Tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- 3 sheets frozen phyllo dough, thawed
- 2 Tablespoons grated Parmesan
Crock Pot "Pulled" Pork

- Optional:
- 1 thawed citrus juice concentrate (i.e. grapefruit)
- 1/4 cup Molasses (or brown sugar)
- 1/4 teas of one of the following spices: cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger

- 1/4 teaspoon of one of following ground spices: pepper, mace, cayenne or thyme
- 1/4 cup Vinegar

- 1 minced clove of garlic
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 cup chopped celery

- 3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
