Breads & Rolls - Cornbread Dressing

Breads & Rolls - Cornbread Dressing

Mix all together until smooth (not too soupy or thick)

  • To this add:
  • I use the Southern Living Cornbread Recipe in this cookbook. Make 1 or 2 skillets depending on number of people feeding.
  • After cornbread is cooked, crumble in small pieces into a large mixing bowl. Toast approximately 5 or 6 pieces of toast and crumble into cornbread mixture.
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • Approximately 5 or 6 stalks of celery, finely chopped
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • broth from boiled hen or roasted turkey-can use Swanson’s Chicken broth also
