It does take time (you bake it for 1 hour!!!) and effort to make but believe me, it's totally worth it

  • For the sauce:
  • 3/4 3/4 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1 1 1 tbsp of balsamic vinegar (for extra tang)
  • 5 5 5 tbsp of ketchup
  • 1 1 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 1 clove 1 large clove of garlic, grated
  • to and pepper to taste
  • 2 2 2 tsp of cornstarch (used flour since it was what I had on hand)
  • For the mixed vegetables:
  • 1 of 1 medium onion, cut into chunks
  • half of each red, green and yellow bell peppers, cut into chunks
  • 1 1 1/2 1 1 1/2 - 1 1/2 cup of pineapple chunks, drained
  • For the sauce:
  • 3/4 3/4 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup white vinegar

  • 2 Tbsp. corn syrup (optional), it makes the glaze a little sticky, but you can leave it out if you want
