All American Skillet Goulash

Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and cover to keep warm
- 1/2 pound elbow macaroni
- 1 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 (28-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
Chewy Chocolate Brownies

•In a microwave, melt chocolate; stir until smooth
- 3 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
- 1 egg
- 1 egg white
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 4-1/2 teaspoons light corn syrup
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup baking cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Texas Roadhouse Rolls

1. Place milk in a saucepan over medium heat
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 c. milk, scalded then cooled to room temperature
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter, slightly cooled
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 7-8 c. flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. honey (optional - HOWEVER, I have read the comments regarding this recipe and those who have found the most success with these rolls have added honey. I have never made them with honey though. So it's up to you!)
Cinnamon Pretzels

In a large roasting pan stir together oil, sugar and cinnamon
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 1 pound package small pretzel twists
Amaranth Granola

Pour warm liquid mixture over dry oat mixture and stir until moistened with liquid mixture
- In a saucepan, heat:
- 8 cups old fashioned rolled oats
- 2 cups popped amaranth
- 2 cups chopped pecans or sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup shelled pumpkin seed (optional)
- 1 cup sunflower seed
- 2 cups unsweetened coconut
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1 cup golden raisins
- 1 cup canola oil, or coconut
- 2 cups Xagave, or honey
- 2 or 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons imitation maple flavoring
Homemade Cultured Buttermilk

Once you've made this you'll never want to go back to storebought cultured buttermilk or vinegar soured milk
- Also needed:
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup cultured buttermilk (from the store or home cultured)
- 1 to 2 quarts skim,1%, 2%, or whole milk from the store or raw milk
- 1 clean, dry quart or half gallon jar with a tight fitting two piece lid.
