Gingerbread Boys & Girls

- 4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 C sugar
- 1 C shortening
- 6 T sour milk (milk + vinegar)
- 2 eggs
- 5 C flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 T cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ground cloves
- 1 tsp. ginger
Cherry Delight

- 20 graham crackers, crushed (1 1/4 C crumbs)
- 4 T butter or margarine, melted
- 1/4 C sugar
- 1 pkg. cream cheese
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 1 C whipped cream OR 1 pkg. dream whip
Banana Oatmeal Cookies

- 1 1/2 C sifted flour
- 1 C sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 C shortening
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1 C mashed bananas
- 1 3/4 C quick oatmeal
- 1/2 C chopped nuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla

- 1 tsp. salt

- 2 C oatmeal
Salted Caramel

- 2 C granulated sugar
- 12 T unsalted butter, cut into 1 T sections
- 1 C heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1-3 tsp. kosher salt (to taste)

- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 C Baker’s angel flake coconut
Oaty Rhubarb Streusel Bars

- Ginger Icing:
- 1 1/2 C oats
- 1 C flour
- 3/4 C packed brown sugar
- 3/4 C butter
- 1/4 C granulated sugar
- 2 T flour
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 2 C chopped rhubarb
- In small bowl stir together 3/4 C powdered sugar, 1/4 tsp. ground ginger, & 3-4 tsp. apricot nectar, orange juice or milk.
- 1 T finely chopped crystallized ginger (optional)
