Instructions Preheat the oven to 350ºF

  • 2 2 1 tsp. lemon zest or more — zest from 1 large lemon
  • 7/8 7/8 1 cup* + 1 tablespoon sugar for sprinkling
  • 1 1 1 egg, room temperature
  • 1 1 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 2 1/4 to flour (set aside 1/4 cup of this to toss with the blueberries)
  • 2 2 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 2 2 2 cups fresh blueberries

  • 2 1/2 c. warm water
  • 2 T. yeast
  • 3 T. sugar

  • Add the above ingredients together and let sit until bubbly (about 3-5 minutes). Then add:
