Buttermilk-Blueberry Breakfast Cake

Instructions Preheat the oven to 350ºF
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 2 2 1 tsp. lemon zest or more — zest from 1 large lemon
- 7/8 7/8 1 cup* + 1 tablespoon sugar for sprinkling
- 1 1 1 egg, room temperature
- 1 1 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 2 1/4 to flour (set aside 1/4 cup of this to toss with the blueberries)
- 2 2 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 2 2 2 cups fresh blueberries
Kickin' Chicken Marinade

In a medium size bowl, mix all marinade ingredients
- 2-3 lbs of chicken (bone-in or boneless)
- 1 cup Frank's RedHot
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed (you can use garlic powder)
- Garnish with Lime-cut into slices

Crust Melt butter and combine with other ingredients and press into a 9x13 inch pan

- 12 Sanderson Farms® Family Pack Chicken Wings, cut into third at the joints, wing tips removed and saved for stock
- 1/3 cup malt vinegar
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon dry parsley

Shake the beef stew meat in a resealable plastic bag with the flour & seasoning salt until evenly coated
- 2 pounds beef stew meat
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon seasoning salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups water
- 2 heaping teaspoons beef demi-glace (or beef Swanson Flavor Boost)
- 4 medium to large red skinned potatoes, washed & diced
- 3 large carrots, peeled & sliced
- 1 stalk celery, diced

Homemade French Bread

Knead for 2-5 minutes and then put in the oven with a small pot of boiling water
- (this amount makes 3 small loaves or 2 large):
- 2 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 T. yeast
- 3 T. sugar
- 2 T. white vinegar
- Add the above ingredients together and let sit until bubbly (about 3-5 minutes). Then add:
- 1 T. salt
- 1/3 c. oil (I use Canola)
- 6-7 c. flour (or a little more if it's too soft), one cup at a time--add enough until the dough is soft, but firm enough to mold into dough loaves

- ¼ cup tomato paste

- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes in puree

Whisk the eggs and 4 tablespoons of water together in a shallow dish
- 6-9 pork chops, not too thick, you can use boneless pork loin
- 2 eggs
- 4 tablespoons water
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Canola or vegetable oil for frying chops
- GLAZE
- 11/2 cups honey
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- dash of cayenne pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon garlic,chopped
- 2 tablespoon butter
