Wild Rice & Cherry Salad

- 1 cup long grain wild rice, measured uncooked.
- 1/2 cup dried cherries cut into small pieces
- 3/4 cup of diced green onions
- 1/4 cup Marzetti's Simply Dressed Balsamic dressing and mix.
- 1/2 cup of pine nuts or pepitas
- optional - diced cooked chicken breast
Creamy Turkey & Broccoli Soup

Heat oil in dutch oven over medium-high heat until hot
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 1/4 lb. ground turkey
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 - 10 3/4oz can chicken broth
- 2 broth cans of milk
- 1/3 cup flour or 1/4 cup gluten-free flour
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 - 10oz package frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
Alfredo Sauce

In saucepan, heat butter and cream until butter is melted
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp parsley
Tabouli (quinoa)

Mix together. Refrigerate for an hour to allow seasons to blend
- Cooked quinoa
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 3 tomatoes, diced
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 2 bunches green onion
- 2 carrots, grated
- 1 cup parsley
Red Wine Sangria

- 1 bottle red wine (Merlot)
- Sliced fruit - 1 each - orange, lemon, lime
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 1/2 cups rum
- 1 cup sugar
Raw Apple Cake

- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp hot water
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp nutmeg
- 2 1/2 cups raw diced apples
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Wild Rice Soup (Byerly's)

Cook wild rice prior to starting soup
- 6 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp minced onion
- 1/2 cup flour or 1/3 cup gluten-free flour
- 3 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/3 cup mined ham
- 1/2 cup chopped cooked chicken
- 1/2 cup finely grated carrots
- 2 tbsp slivered almonds, chopped
- 2 cups cooked wild rice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 2 tbsp dry sherry (optional)
Singapore Noodles

Bring large pot of lightly salted water to a boil
- 1 lb vermicelli
- 2 chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 2 pork chops, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 carrots, thinly sliced
- 2 celery stalks, thinly sliced
- 1/2 (12 oz) pkg frozen shrimp, thawed
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp curry powder
- 1/4 cup water

- 12 oz pkg rice stick noodles
- 2 tbsp tamarind paste
- 3/4 cup boiling water
- 4 tbsp peanut oil
- 1 lb chicken breast or shrimp, diced
- 1/8 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 3/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 cups bean sprouts
- 1/4 cup peanuts, crushed
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
