This is a 2003 first-place winner at the Iowa State Fair
- For filling:
- 6 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1-1/4 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 lb. frozen strawberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted
Nutella Milkshake

- 1/3 cup Nutella
- 1 cup milk (preferably skim)
- 3 scoops frozen vanilla yogurt

- 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup diced onion
- 6 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon dried basil leaves
- 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons sugar (to taste) or 1⁄2-3⁄4 teaspoon Equal sugar substitute (to taste) or 2 tablespoons Splenda sugar substitute, granules (to taste)
- Salt, to taste
- 1 ⁄2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

I once ran out of Bisquick, and I used the full amount of Parmesan cheese, 1 1/4 cup Bisquick, and 1/2 cup milk
- 2 pounds of boneless, skinless, chicken thighs (Do not leave it on the bone – NOT a smart move)
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 2 teaspoons of oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon savory
- 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
- 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 large yellow onion diced
- 5 ribs of celery chopped
- 2 small cans of mushrooms
- 1.5 cups of baby carrots chopped (more if you like them)
- 1.5 cups of frozen corn kernels, thawed
- 5 cups of chicken stock
- 1 3/4 Bisquick baking mix
- 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese
- 2/3 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- Salt and Pepper
