Berkowitz's Grandma's Honey Roasted Chicken with Tzimmies | Max's Bar & Restaurant

Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly; set aside
- Honey Mustard Glaze Ingredients:
- 3 1/2 lbs whole chicken
- 2 Tsp olive oil
- 2 tsp Herbs de Provence (can substitute Italian seasoning)
- 2 tsp seasoning salt
- 1 cup honey
- 2 oz spicy brown mustard
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- 1/2 tsp thyme leaves
- 1/2 tsp tarragon
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 Tbsp jalapeño jelly
- 2 Tbsp amino acids
- Tzimmies Ingredients:
- 2 Russet potatoes
- 1 sweet potato
- 1 onion
- 3 carrots
- 1/2 cup fresh apricots, chopped
- Juice from one lemon
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Best Baked Apples

1. Adjust oven rack to middle position and heat oven to 375 degrees
- 7 large (about 6 ounces each) Granny Smith apples
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries, coarsely chopped
- 1/3 cup coarsely chopped pecans, toasted
- 3 tablespoons old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon finely grated zest from 1 orange
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- pinch table salt
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons apple cider

Instructions 1. For the cake: Adjust oven rack to middle position and heat oven to 350 degrees

- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons natural cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons red food coloring
- 12 tablespoons (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- Frosting
- 16 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cups confectioners' sugar
- 16 ounces cream cheese, cut into 8 pieces, softened
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Pinch salt
Soy Free Worcestershire Sauce

Mix all the components together in a cooking pan and place on a medium flame
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 Tbsp. coco aminos
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. mustard powder
- 1/4 tsp. ginger(minced)
- A pinch of cinnamon
- A dash of pepper

- 2 plum tomatoes, cored and cut into 1/4-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil

Apple Spice Yogurt Bread

- 4 cups Flour: White Flour, Whole Wheat Pastry Flour or combinatio2 cups Oats
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 tablespoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 6 Large Apples, peeled, cored, and diced
- 3 Eggs, beaten
- 2 1/4 cups Yogurt
- 1/4 cup Melted Butter, Ghee or Coconut Oil
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla
- 1/2 cup Pecans or Walnuts
Turkey and Blue Cheese Salad

Preparation Combine first 5 ingredients in a small bowl; set aside
- 1/3 cup light ranch dressing
- 1 Tbsp. low fat milk
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp. dried dill
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 cup chopped plum tomato
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped green onion
- 4 oz. roasted turkey, cut into thin strips
- 2 oz. crumbled blue cheese
- 1 (8oz.) bag, preshredded lettuce
- 1 (15 1/2oz) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 1 anaheim chile, sliced into thin rounds
Slow Cooker Barbecue Chicken

Preparation Place chicken in the slow cooker
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lb)
- 1 bottle (12 oz) barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Sweet Potato French Fries
