Stout Marinated Steak Tips

- 5 pounds beef flap meat
- 4 ounces Worcestershire sauce
- 4 ounces soy sauce
- 1 cup molasses
- 1 pound brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
- 5 or 6 cloves garlic, smashed
- 2 cans stout, (recommended: Guinness)
CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES - GRANDMA'S

PREHEAT OVEN 350 Combine flour, baking soda, salt and set aside
- SINGLE RECIPE**
- 1 1/8 CUPS FLOUR
- 1/4 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
- 1/2 TEASPOON SALT

- 1/2 CUP SUGAR

Apple Cranberry Pie

FOR FLAKY PIE CRUST: Combine water, salt, and sugar in measuring cup
- 2 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 2 sticks (8oz) and 1/2 cup chilled butter (cut into 1/2-inch cubes)
- 1/3 + 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon and a pinch of salt
- 1 Tablespoon and 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 4 Granny Smith apples (peeled and diced)
- 1/2 cup frozen cranberries
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 lemon (zest and juiced)
- 2 Tablespoons corn starch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/3 cup pecans (chopped)

Pour a scant tablespoon of the olive oil into a 9-inch-square cake pan; spread evenly to cover bottom and sides
- 9 tablespoon Olive oil (divided use)
- 3 cup un-sifted all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup un-sifted semolina flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (divided)
- 1 1/2 tablespoon quick-rising dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cup hot (between 120 and 130 degrees) milk

- 1 cup freshly chopped basil leaves
- 1 cup freshly chopped parsley leaves
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon kosher or sea salt
- 1 tablespoon freshly ground or coarsely ground black pepper
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed and finely chopped
- 2 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 2 1/2 pounds ground pork
- 1 cup warm water

- MARINADE:
- 4 Cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 Cup fresh cilantro leaves and stems, chopped finely
- 1 Jalapeño, serrano or habanero pepper, minced (optional, if you don’t like it spicy)
- 2 Freshly squeezed limes
- 1 Freshly squeezed orange
- 1/2 Cup olive oil
- 1 Teaspoon cumin
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Kosher salt (but go easy on it because you’ll salt the steak again just before putting it on the grill)
- 2 Tablespoons white vinegar
- Beer (like negra modelo, corona or dos equis), optional, to taste
- Using a mortar and pestle, mash the garlic, hot pepper, cilantro, cumin, salt, and pepper into a paste. Gradually add the lime juice, orange juice, oil, vinegar and beer, stirring to mix well.
- Yields about 1 1/2 Cups
- OTHER INGREDIENTS:
- 2 Lbs flank or skirt steaks
- 1 Onion, chopped
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Olive oil for the grill
- Corn or flour tortillas
