Fresh Orange Cake with Orange Cream Cheese Frosting

Cake: Preheat oven to 350-degrees
- Cake:
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- zest from the oranges
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream (Lite is okay)
- Optional: 1/4 tsp. pure orange oil
- Optional: 2 tsp. Loranne's Buttery Sweet Dough Emulsion
- Frosting:
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 3 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
- 1/4 tsp pure orange oil (optional)
- 2-4 cups* confectioners sugar
- add up to 8 cups of sugar, if that's your cup of tea.

- 1 cup butter, at room temperature
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups light sour cream
- For the Frosting:
- 1 cup butter, at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 6 tablespoons heavy cream
- Several drops food coloring
- Sprinkles

Drain crabmeat as much as possible
- 2 8-oz. packages of cream cheese (room temperature)
- 2 cans jumbo lump crabmeat
- 1/2 cup onions, finely chopped
- 1 tsp. horseradish
- 2 tsp. milk
- 1 small bag slivered almonds
- Dash of paprika
BROWN GRAVY

- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 c. canned beef bouillon/beef broth
- 2 tbsp. flour
- Dash salt and pepper
Oven Roasted Buffalo Chicken Wings

These Buffalo Wings are easy to make for the next big game, or just because you get a craving for some spicy wings
- 5 pounds chicken wings
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon onion power
- 1 teaspoon coarse salt
- BUFFALO SAUCE
- 8 tablespoons Louisiana hot sauce (Frank's is the brand used in Buffalo)
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt to taste
CHILE RELLENOS

- SAUCE:
- 6 banana peppers
- 2 lg. eggs, separated
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Monterey Jack cheese
- Flour for coating
- Oil for frying
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 3 tbsp. chopped onion
- 1/4 tsp. garlic
- 3 oz. tomatoes and green chili peppers
- 1/4 c. water if needed
Pecan Pie (SM)

- 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup lightg corn syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecan halves (I add 2 cups)

- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups soft bread, cubed

- 4 Tbsp vinegar
- 4 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
Caesar Salad Parmesan Cups

1. Preheat the oven to 300
- 3 oz Parmesan cheese, grated (freshly grated from a block, not the kind that comes in a can – use the small-hole side of a box cheese grater to grate your own)
- 3 T fat free plain Greek yogurt
- 1 1/2 t fresh lemon juice
- 1 1/2 t extra virgin olive oil
- 1 t red wine vinegar
- 1 t Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 t anchovy paste (omit if making this vegetarian)
- 1/2 t Dijon mustard
- 1/4 t black pepper
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- 4 cups chopped Romaine lettuce

- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary or 1 teaspoon dried
- 8-10 bacon slices
- 1 pound American Pride U/15 frozen sea scallops, thawed
- Fresh rosemary sprigs (optional)
