Delicious. This is a great recipe to prepare on a "ladies" afternoon with your friends
- FILLING:
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 well beaten egg
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- Cooled mashed potatoes mixed with cream cheese, onions, bacon, cheese whiz, chives, parsley or anything you like.
Lamb and Barley Vegetable Soup

- 1 1/2 lbs. lamb, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup barley
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 carrot, chopped into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 parsnip, chopped into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 14-ounce can stewed Italian tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. marjoram
- 1/2 tsp. salt

- 1 bay leaf
- 4 cups beef or lamb broth

Oven-Baked Parmesan Zucchini

- 4 small zucchini scrubbed, and diagonally sliced about 1/2" thick
- 2 eggs or egg substitutes beaten

- 28 oz can diced tomatoes
- 19 oz can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/3 English cucumber, chopped, about 1 cup

- 1/8 tsp salt
