Country Fried Steak and Cream Gravy by Wyeth

Pound steak to 1/4 inch thickness; cut into serving size pieces
- 2-2 1/2 lbs. boneless round steaks
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Trout Menuiere

Combine butter, lemon juice, boullion cubes, bitters and Lee and Perrins
- 1 stick butter
- juice of one lemon
- 2 boullion cubes
- dash of bitters
- dash of Lee and Perrin Worcestershire sauce
- trout fillets
Gourmet Chicken

Put dried beef in bottom of casserole
- 8 boneless chicken breasts
- 8 slices bacon
- 1 can mushroom soup (can double)
- 1 pkg. dried beef
- 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream (can double)
Easy Meat Loaf

Mix all together. Shape into loaf
- 1 lb. ground meat
- 1 egg
- 1 can onion soup
- 12 crackers crushed or 1/2 cup bread crumbs
Frozen Fruit Salad

Mix all together and freeze
- 1 can peach pie filling (or blueberry)
- 1 medium can crushed pineapple
- 1 carton Cool Whip (middle size)
- 1 can condensed milk
Poppyseed Chicken by Jackie

Boil chicken. Cool and cute into bite-size pieces
- 6 chicken breasts or 1 large chicken
- 1/2 box of Ritz crackers
- 1 1/2 sticks of butter
- 2 Tbsp. poppyseed
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 2 (8 oz.) cartons sour cream
Frozen Fruit Salad

Bring cream cheese, 1/2 cup Miracle Whip, 7 oz
- Dressing:
- Bring to room temp.
- 2-3 oz. cream cheese
- 1/2 cup Miracle Whip
- 1 medium jar marshmallow creme
- 1 large can fruit cocktail, drained
- 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 carton of whipping cream, whipped
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup whipped cream
- 1/2 cup Miracle Whip
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. powdered sugar
Grace Jean's Cheese Soup

Chop carrots, celery and onion in food processor or grate finely
- 3/4 cup carrots (about 1 big carrot)
- 3/4 cup celery
- 3/4 cup onion
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/4 cup green onions, bottoms and tops
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 Tbsp. corn starch
- 1/8 tsp. soda
- 40 oz. (5 cups) chicken broth or 3 cans Swanson's
- 1 quart whole milk
- 1 lb. Velveeta cheese cut up
Hot Fruit Casserole

Drain and cut into bite sizes first four ingredients
- Bottom layer:
- 1 (1 lb.) can peaches
- 1 (1 lb.) can apricots
- 1 (1 lb.) can pears
- 1 (1 lb.) can pineapple
- 2 large ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 medium bottle cherries, chopped in juice
- Top layer:
- 1 (1 lb.) can applesauce
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup butter or oleo
- Topping:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup pecans, chopped fine
Taco Soup

Brown meat and onion. Drain of grease
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cans jalapeno pinto beans
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 can whole kernel corn, undrained
- 1 can chopped green chilies
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning
- 1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix
- 2 cans stewed tomatoes
