Honey Walnut Butter and Basil Butter used for homemade Christmas Gifts!
- Honey-walnut butter
- 1 pound butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 cup walnuts
- Simply blend the ingredients in a food processor and present in a little glass jar.
- Basil butter
- 1 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1 pound unsalted butter
- Pinch of salt
- Simply blend the ingredients in a food processor and present in a beribboned glass jar.
Maple Glazed Sweet Potatoes

- 2 tbs butter, melted
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- 3/8 cup water

Pork Chops with Brandied Cherry Sauce and Zucchini with Walnuts

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
- Zucchini with Walnuts:
- 1 (15-ounce) can whole black pitted cherries in natural juices, drained
- 2 rounded spoonfuls sugar -- for fresh cherries only
- 4 large boneless center-cut pork chops, 1 1/2 inches thick
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, 2 turns of the pan
- 1 large shallot, finely chopped
- Splash of brandy
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 2 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
- 3 tablespoons fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup, chopped walnuts -- available in small pouches on baking aisle
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, 2 turns of the pan
- 1 tablespoon butter, cut into small pieces
- 3 medium zucchinis, sliced into disks, 1/-inch thick
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, freshly grated or ground
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
