Petits Pains au Chocolat

- 2 sheets frozen puff pastry (one 17.3-ounce package), thawed, each sheet cut into 12 squares
- 1 large egg beaten to blend with 1 water (for glaze)
- 4 3.5-ounce bars imported bittersweet or milk chocolate, each cut into six 2x3/4-inch pieces

Lemonade Party Cake

1. Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan)
- 1 box Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® lemon or yellow cake mix
- Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
- 1 can (6 oz) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 container Betty Crocker® Whipped fluffy white or fluffy lemon frosting
- Yellow colored sugar, if desired
Pan-Seared Pork with Potatoes & lemon

- 1 pound red potatoes, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

- 1/3 cup garlic powder
- 1/4 cup celery salt
- 1/4 cup Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup lemon-pepper seasoning
- 1/4 cup dried rosemary, crushed
- 1/4 cup paprika
- 3 tablespoons garlic salt
- 4 teaspoons pepper
Chocolate Laced Fruit Kebabs

1.On each skewer, alternate 1 strawberry, 1 chunk honeydew, 1 chunk cantaloupe, and 1 chunk pineapple; repeat
- 10 (10- to 12-inch) wooden or metal skewers
- 20 medium strawberries, hulled
- 20 honeydew chunks (about 1/2 large honeydew)
- 20 cantaloupe chunks (about 1/2 large cantaloupe)
- 20 pineapple chunks (about 1/2 large pineapple)
- 1/2 cup (3 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips (see Note)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup

Caramelized Onion and Garlic Dip

- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1 shallot, peeled and chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 large Spanish onion
- 1 Vidalia onion, finely chopped
- 3 cipollini onions, finely chopped
- 1 medium red onion, finely chopped
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup fat-free Greek yogurt
- 1 cup reduced-fat cream cheese
- 3 scallions, chopped (about 1/2 cup)

Almond Butter Chicken

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (1 1/4 lb)
- 2 T all-purpose flour
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 pkg (2 1/4 oz) sliced almonds
- 1/4 c butter
- Orange Sauce
- 1 T brown sugar
- 2 t cornstarch
- juice 1 oragne (1/2 c)
- 2 T butter
- 1 t grated orange peel
Chicken in Peanut Sauce

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil
- 6 to 8 servingsIngredients
- 2 large tomatoes, cored
- 2 cups roasted, unsalted peanuts
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons adobo sauce from canned chipotles (reserve chipotles for another use)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 2 cups shredded chicken breast meat, from 2 cooked chicken breasts
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Warm corn tortillas or white rice, for serving
Fudgy Pinwhee Cookies

In a large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy
- FILLING:
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon shortening
- 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
