Whisk water, Shao Hsing (or sherry), oyster sauce, soy sauce and cornstarch in a small bowl until smooth
- 6 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons Shao Hsing rice wine or dry sherry (see Tip)
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 12 frozen potstickers
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 8-ounce package sliced mushrooms
- 1 bunch scallions, sliced, whites and greens separated
- 1 medium red bell pepper, sliced
- Bell Peppers Orange, Red, & Yellow
- 4 cups coarsely chopped napa cabbage
- 2 cups snap peas, trimmed and halved lengthwise
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

- 1 pound fettuccine pasta
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil
- 12 ounces spaghetti
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 12 ounces sweet italian sausage, or turkey sausage
- 6 cloves garlic sliced
- 1 small head cauliflower, broken into small florets
- 1 bunch scallions chopped
- 1 cup grated pecorino romano or Parmesan cheese

1. Adjust oven rack to upper-middle position, about 5 inches from heating element; heat broiler
- 2 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons half-and-half
- Table salt and ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1/2 pound asparagus , trimmed of tough ends, spears cut on the bias into 1/4-inch pieces
- 1 medium shallot , minced (about 3 tablespoons)
- 4 ounces deli-style baked ham , 1/4-inch-thick, cut into 1/2-inch cubes (about 3/4 cup)
- 3 ounces Gruyère cheese , cut into 1/4-inch cubes (about 3/4 cup)

Nothing like hushpuppies from Long John Silver's! Hush puppies are great for fish fry's
- 1/3 cup minced onion
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt, plus more for sprinkling
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup whole milk
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Salad: BLT Sandwich Salad

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- For the salad:
- 1 head romaine lettuce, thinly sliced (about 6 cups)
- 1/2 cup chopped red onion
- 2 Roma tomatoes, seeded and chopped
- 4 slices white bread
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- For the bacon:
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Hungarian paprika
- Grated zest of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon black peppercorns, crushed in a bag with a mallet
- 6 strips center-cut bacon
- 6 sprigs fresh thyme
- For the dressing:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 to 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 4 teaspoons whole-grain mustard
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Roasted Beef Tenderloin with Horseradish Cream and Chive Sauce (Rachel Ray's)

Preheat oven 450°F. Arrange the tenderloins on a roasting pan or heavy-duty cookie sheet
- For the horseradish cream and chive sauce:
- 2 beef tenderloins
- Extra-virgin olive oil (EVOO), for drizzling
- 1/2 cup Montreal steak seasoning
- 36 little French oval rolls (they look like super mini baguettes), split halfway through lengthwise
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1/4-1/2 cup prepared horseradish
- 2 tablespoons Dijion mustard
- 30 chives, chopped
- A little salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Heirloom Tomato Salad with Bacon and Tomato Dill Dressing

This salad is best with a mix of big round tomatoes and a few smaller varieties like cherry tomatoes
- 1 large fresh tomato(es), round, red, heirloom, seeded, roughly chopped
- 1 1⁄2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 tsp sherry vinegar
- 1 ⁄4 tsp table salt
- 1 ⁄2 ts pblack pepper, freshly ground
- 2 Tbsp dill, fresh, chopped (plus extra sprigs for garnish)
- 1 ⁄2 tsp minced garlic, or more to taste
- 3 1⁄2 pound(s)fresh tomato(es), mixed heirloom varieties
- 5 slice(s)cooked turkey bacon, crisp
Grilled Beef Tenderloin on Focaccia Toasts

Heat the oven to 400 degrees F
- 2 pounds cherry tomatoes
- 1 cup extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 2 heads garlic
- 4 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 2 cups good quality mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons hot chili paste
- 1 whole beef tenderloin*, about 6 to 8 pounds
- 2 loaves focaccia bread, sliced and toasted
- Baby arugula, for garnish

- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup heavy cream
- confectioners sugar for dusting
