Lucinda's Oven-Fried Chicken

Mix eggs, Tabasco, onion, and garlic in a large bowl
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 3 tablespoons Tabasco sauce
- 1 medium onion, sliced 1/4 inch thick
- 2 garlic cloves, smashed and peeled
- 1 whole chicken (3 to 4 pounds), cut into 8 pieces
- 1/4 cup Wondra flour
- 1/4 cup fine yellow cornmeal
- 3/4 teaspoon coarse salt
- 1/4 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil, for brushing
Herb-Happy Garlic Bread

•In a small bowl, mix the first five ingredients until blended
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup grated Romano cheese
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh basil or 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 French bread baguette
- 4 ounces crumbled goat cheese
Carolina Pimemto Cheese Chicken Salad

Combine cheese, mayonnaise, pimentos, sour cream, lemon juice, cayenne, scallions, and garlic in large bowl
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup jarred pimentos, chopped and drained
- 2 Tablespoons sour cream
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 scallions, sliced thin
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 5 cups cooked boneless, skinless chicken breast
- Salt and pepper
Beef Burgundy

Mix all ingredients in Dutch oven
- 2 lbs. stew beef
- 1 can golden mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 soup can red wine
- 1 jar whole onions, drained
- 1 8 oz. pkg mushrooms, quartered
Beef Tenderloin Marinade

Marinate for 24 hrs. turning often
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 T. brown sugar
- 2 T. dijon
- 1 T. white vinegar
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 5-6 lb. Beef Tenderloin, trimmed
Smoky Brunswick Stew

Stir together meat, tomatoes, and remaining ingredients in a 6-quart Dutch oven
- 2 lbs. smoked cooked chicken, chopped
- 2-1/2 lbs. smoked cooked pork (boston butt), chopped
- 3 (14 1/2-ounce) cans diced tomatoes
- 2 (16-ounce) packages frozen whole kernel yellow corn, thawed
- 2 (16-ounce) packages frozen butterbeans, thawed (and cooked)
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 (32-ounce) container chicken broth
- 1 (24-ounce) bottle ketchup
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
- 2 T. liquid smoke
