I had a can of Apricot Cake & Pastry Filling and browsed on the web for apricot recipes
- OAT BARS:
- 1 1/2 cups quick oats (plain or flavored, I used 3 small flavored oats in pkg)
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 3/4 sticks butter, melted
- 1 egg

- APRICOT-CREAM CHEESE FILLING:
- 1 can Apricot Cake & Pastry Filling
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 egg
Easy Chicken Chow Mein

1. In a large pot, saute celery in oil for approximately 5 minutes or until crisp-tender
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil
- 1 package fresh celery , sliced
- 1 cup bean sprouts (optional)
- 1 (4 ounce) can mushroom pieces, drained (SHITAKI!!)
- 1 (7 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained (SKIP THIS!)
- 2 cups cut up cooked chicken
- 2 thinly (diagonally) sliced carrots, cooked

- 1 medium onion, chopped fine
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped fine
- 1 teaspoon canola oil
- 3 medim cloves garlic, minced
- 3 Tablespoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin

- 1 15-oz can tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1 large beefsteak tomato, seeded and chopped
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts (2 large breasts)
- 1 cup extra sharp white Cheddar, shredded
- 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup minced fresh cilantro
- 12 (6-inch) soft corn tortillas

- 1/2 C diced onion
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 2 1/2 C milk
- 8-12 slices American cheese
- 1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 2 C dried elbow macaroni
