Paprika Shrimp Pasta

This recipe is another one that I could eat until I die
- 1 lb. peeled, uncooked large shrimp
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic, chopped
- 1/2 tsp smoked Paprika (buy the Spanish kind, a million times more delicious than the grocery store)
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/3 cup white wine
- Linguine or Spaghetti, about 3/4 of a box
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped cilantro (optional)
Cashew Baklava

I always wanted to make Baklava, but it seemed like so much work
- SYRUP:
- 1-1/2 cups salted cashews
- 1-1/2 cups chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 2/3 cup butter, melted
- 16 sheets phyllo dough (14 inches x 9 inches)

- 1-1/3 cups sugar
- 2/3 cup water
- 2/3 cup honey
- 3 lemon slices
- 2 whole cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

This is from a gal I met in college
- For Sauce:
- 1 16-oz can tomato paste
- 1 28-oz can whole tomatoes
- 2 16-oz cans tomato sauce
- 3 cans water (use one of the empty 16-oz cans and fill it with water 3 times)
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 handful parsley
- 1 tsp garlic chips
- 1/4-1/2 cups ketchup
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- .....................................
- For Meatballs:
- 3 slices of bread (add a little milk to soften)
- 2 eggs (beaten and then added to the bread)
- 1 1/2 lbs hamburger or sausage, or mixture of both
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 handful parsley
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
Lemon Chess Pie

- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon cornmeal
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Mini Pumpkin Cheesecakes

Preheat an oven to 325 F. Lightly butter the wells of a miniature cheesecake pans

- 1/2 cup gingersnap crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons sugar

- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1-Minute Blueberry Cake

- 3 Tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 1 Tablespoon canola oil
- 1 Tablespoons sugar
- 1 Tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon milk
- 10 or so blueberries
- A few chopped walnuts
- Ice cream or whipped cream, optional
Hawaiian Grilled Pineapple Chicken

- Basting Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar or sherry
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1/2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 2 inch pieces

- 1/2 cup fresh pineapple, chopped into small pieces, juice reserved

For steaks: Mix all ingredients, shape into 6 patties, and wrap each patty in flat circle with 1 strip bacon

- 2/3 cup rolled oats
- 1 chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- a dash pepper
- 6 strips of bacon
