  • 3 tablespoons minced onion
  • 3 tablespoons garlic flakes
  • 3 tablespoons poppy seeds
  • 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons coarse salt or sea salt
  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken tenders
  • Extra-virgin olive oil (EVOO) for drizzling
  • Wood skewers, soaked in water for 10-15 minutes
  • 1 8-ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 1 12-ounce sour cream
  • 6 scallions, chopped

1. In a large soup pot or sauce pan cook bacon over medium until crispy

  • 4 slices bacon, cut into a small dice
  • 1 pound hot Italian sausage, ground or links with casings removed
  • 1 large yellow onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups (32 ounces) chicken broth or stock
  • 3 cups Russet potatoes, cubed
  • sea or kosher salt and fresh black pepper
  • 2 loose packed cups kale, in bite size pieces
  • 1 cup heavy cream or 14 ounce can evaporated milk
  • Parmesan cheese, grated, for serving

My family loves pot roast

  • Place 2 1/2-3 lb chuck roast on large piece of foil.
  • Add 4 sliced potatoes and 1 lb sliced carrots.
  • Top with 1 envelope Liption Onion Soup Mix.
  • Wrap and seal tightly.
  • Place in roasting pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
