- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1/2 apple, finely chopped or grated
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Sweet and Sour Meatballs

- For the meatballs:
- 1 pound ground meat (beef, chicken, turkey, pork)
- 1 large onion, finely diced (about 1 cup)
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 slices bread, wet (see instruction #3 below)
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

- For the sweet and sour sauce:
- 1 1/2 cups ketchup
- 1 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 cup chicken broth
Stuffed Pizza Bites

Preheat oven to temperature specified on pizza dough package
- 1 roll refrigerated pizza dough (or make your own)
- marinara/pizza sauce
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil or melted butter
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. dried Italian seasoning
- mozzarella or Italian blend cheese
- pizza toppings of your choice (ham and pineapple, pepperoni, sausage, chopped green peppers or onions, etc.)
Maid Service Pancakes

Beat eggs. Add buttermilk, salad oil, cream and yeast
- 6 Eggs
- 1 Quart Buttermilk
- 1/4 C Salad Oil
- 1 Cup Cream (or evaporated milk)
- 1 pkg Dry Yeast
- 4 Cups Flour
- 2 Tablespoons Baking Powder
- 2 Tablespoons Baking Soda
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
My Favorite Oatmeal Bread

Place ingredients in bread machine on DOUGH cycle
- 3 cups Bread Flour
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 cup lukewarm milk
- 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast OR 1 packet active dry yeast*

Sausage and Summer Squash

This sausage and veggie toss gets its tangy flavor from a simple-to-make mixture of garlic and Italian dressing
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup bottled Italian salad dressing
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 12 oz. cooked Polish sausage links, halved lengthwise, sliced diagonally
- 3 small yellow summer squash and/or zucchini, quartered lengthwise
- 4 wedges Italian flat bread, split
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- Fresh oregano leaves
- 1/4 cup coarsely shredded Parmesan cheese (optional)
