- 2/3 cup raisins soaked in 3 tbsp vanilla extract for at least 1 hour
- 1 1/8 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 3 cups flour
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 5 tbsp butter or margarine
- 1 pkg yeast
Shrimp Paprika

1. Cut large shrimp in half
- 1 lb raw, peeled, deveined shrimp
- 2 Tbls margarine or butter
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion tops
- 1/3 cup heavy cream or half and half
- 1 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2/3 cup sour cream
- 2 cups rice (cooked)
- Parsley for garnish

- DOUGH:
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon salt

Spice Sheet Cake

1. Sift together in a large bowl flour and sugar
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup buttermilk (1/2 c milk & 1 1/2 tsp vinegar)
- 2 eggs (slightly beaten)
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
