1. Make three cups of vanilla wafer crumbs in a blender at high speed, adding a few wafers at a time
- Note:
- 3 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup powdered cocoa
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 cup whiskey(see note)
- 3 tablespoons light corn syrup
- salt
- It is traditional in the South to use bourbon whiskey, but rye may also be used.
