Chicken BBQ (Slow Cooker)

Add everything to crockpot but chicken and stir to combine
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup Italian dressing
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt to taste
- Hamburger buns
- Coleslaw
Beer Batter

Combine all ingredients in a bowl
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup baking mix
- 1/2 cup beer
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dry thyme
Fresh Green or Yellow Bean Casserole

Saute bacon, remove and crumble
- 3 cups whole fresh green or yellow beans, cooked
- 4 bacon slices
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/3 cup mayo
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 fresh tomatoes, unpeeled and quartered
Creamy Waldorf-Astoria Salad

Combine cream cheese, sugar and juice in small bowl, stir well and set aside
- 1 (3 oz.) package cream cheese. softened
- 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon orange or pineapple juice
- 3 large unpeeled apples, cubed
- 1 (8 oz.) can pineapple tidbits, drained
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped celery
- 2 tablespoons chopped pecans
- 2 tablespoons golden raisins

MARYLAND CRAB CAKES

1. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil
- 1 large egg
- 2 1/2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup finely diced celery (you’ll need one stalk)
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1 pound lump crab meat*
- 1/2 cup panko (I like the Whole Foods 365 brand for this recipe)

Gumbo

Cut the chicken in bite-size pieces
- 3 large boneless skinless chicken breast halves
- Salt and pepper
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 lb. smoked sausage, cut into 1/4-inch slices
- 1/2 cup flour
- 5 tablespoons margarine
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 8 cloves garlic minced
- 1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 3 talks celery chopped
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 bunch flat leaf parsley, stem and leaves, coarsely chopped, plus chopped leaves for garnish
- 4 cups hot water
- 5 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 (14 oz.) can stewed tomatoes with juice
- 2 cups frozen sliced okra
- 4 green onions, sliced, white and green parts (optional)
- 1/2 lb. small shrimp (or medium, halved) peeled, deveined and cooked
The Best Brownies

- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup flour
Upside-Down Apple Pie

In a large bowl, combine flour and salt; cut in shortening and butter until crumbly
- FILLING:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons shortening
- 2 tablespoons cold butter
- 5 to 7 tablespoons orange juice
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted, divided
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 8 cups thinly sliced peeled tart apples (about 1/8-inch thick)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon ground Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- GLAZE:
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- 2 to 3 teaspoons orange juice

- 3 1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning, divided
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 Tbsp Salt, divided
- 1 cup Vegetable Oil
- 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
- 1 1/2 cups Flour, plus
- 1 Tbsp Flour, divided
- 1 lb Dry Capellini, angel hair
Beef Brisket, BBQ (Slow Cooker)

In a small bowl, combine the first six ingredients; rub over brisket
- Sauce:
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 fresh brisket (2 1/2 lbs.), trimmed
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 to 1/2 teaspoons Liquid Smoke, optional
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
