Mushroom Sauce

In a 4 1/2-quart Dutch oven, combine first 3 ingredients and cook, stirring, over medium heat until golden brown
- 1/3 cup cooking oil
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 6 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
- 3/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 3/4 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1/3 cup cornstarch
- 3 cups milk, half-and-half, or light cream
Grilled Corn on the Cob

1.Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate
- 6 ears corn
- 6 tablespoons butter, softened
- salt and pepper to taste
Macadamia Nut Lime Squares

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 2 1/2 cups crushed sugar cookies
- 1/2 cup finely chopped macadamia nuts
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 4 large eggs lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 teaspoons lime zest
Pork Loin Roast (Bobbie's Polish Cookbook )

Mix ingredients and rub thoroughly into the roast
- Topping:
- 4 to 5 lb. pork loin roast
- 1 1/2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon sage
- 1 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Bolognese Sauce

In large pan, brown the beef over medium-high heat
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 1 medium-sized onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 (15-oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 beef bouillon packet
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Lemon Poppy Seed Cake

This cake is light and delicious
- Cake:
- 1/2 cup butter , softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup poppy seeds
- 1 tbsp lemon zest (I used lemon zest from 1 lemon)
- (I added lemon juice from 1 lemon)
- Icing Glaze:
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 3 tbsp milk
- Lemon Glaze:
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- Zest of 1/2 lemon
Slow Cooker Teriyaki Pork Chops

Combine all ingredients in a gallon-sized freezer bag
- 4 pork chops, about 1 in thick
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup chicken broth
- salt & pepper to taste
Orange Chicken (Slow Cooker)

In a bowl, mix the orange juice, brown sugar, vinegar, salt, and ketchup
- Ingredients:
- boneless chicken breasts, chopped into small chunks (I used about 4)
- 1/3 cup flour
- olive oil
- 1/2 Tbl. salt
- 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- 3 Tbl. ketchup
- 6 oz. frozen orange juice concentrate (thaw or throw it in the microwave for 45 seconds)
- 4 Tbl. brown sugar
Velveeta Cheesy Bacon Brunch Casserole

HEAT oven to 350ºF. COOK bacon in large skillet on medium heat 10 min
- 8 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, chopped
- 2 cups frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 each red and green pepper, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 12 eggs
- 1/3 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
- 3/4 lb. (12 oz.) VELVEETA®, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
Green Beans in Beer Sauce

- 1/3 cup beer
- 1/3 cup butter, cubed
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons white vinegar
- 4 teaspoons cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons grated onion
