Hoisin-Glazed Chicken Thighs

Combine all rub ingredients except chicken in small bowl; rub over both sides of chicken
- Rub
- 2 tablespoons five-spice powder
- 2 tablespoons Hungarian paprika
- 2 tablespoons coarse salt
- 1 tablespoon mince garlic
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 16 bone in skin on chicken thighs
- Glaze
- 1 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/4 ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons dark sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
Spaghetti and Meat Sauce

1. In a large skillet, brown beef and pork over medium heat until no longer pink; set aside

How to Cook Pinto Beans in a Pressure Cooker

I don't care too much for the traditional method of cooking beans
- 2 1/2 • 2 1/2 cup dried pinto beans
- 1 1/2 • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 3 • 3 tablespoons canola oil
- 5 to 5 1/2 • 5 to 5 1/2 cups water
- All beans need to be rinsed and checked for foreign objects.
Granola

- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup slivered almonds
- 1 cup cashews
- 3/4 cup shredded sweet coconut
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup raisins
Smothered Pork Chops Recipe

As always the key to great cooking is to be prepared and to use quality ingredients
- 1 – 4 pork chops, 3/4 to 1 inch thick
- 1 – Vidalia or sweet onion, thinly sliced
- 2 - teaspoons seasoned salt
- 2 - teaspoons garlic powder
- 1/2 - teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 - teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 - cup self rising flour
- 1/2 – cup vegetable oil
- 2 – cups water
Cucumber and Red Onion Salad

When I make this salad, I don’t do anything fancy
- 11 english cucumber, cut into quarters and chopped
- 1/41/4 red onion, thinly slivered
- 3tablespoons3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 4tablespoons4 tablespoons olive oil
- pinchpinch of white sugar
- sprinkle of garlic powder (I really encourage using garlic powder as opposed to fresh in this salad. It adds a nice flavor without making it too garlicky).
- 2large pinches2 large pinches of kosher salt
- 5-65-6 grinds black pepper
Italian Liqueur

In a small saucepan, combine sugar, 1 12/ cups water, vanilla bean, and aniseed
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 vanilla bean, split
- 1/2 ½ teaspoon banana extract
- 1 1/2 1 ½ teaspoon aniseed
- 2 ounces candied pineapple (chopped)
- 1 750 milliliter gin
- 2 crops yellow food coloring
SPICY CHICKEN CANAPÉS

1. Cook fillo pastry shells as directed and set aside
- 12 frozen mini fillo pastry shells
- 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken (shredded)
- 2 scallions (sliced - white parts separated from green parts)
- 1/4 cup endive or romaine lettuce (sliced thin)
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 1-2 tbsp Sriracha
- Salt and pepper if needed

- 2 celery ribs, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 2 1/2 cups 2% milk
- 1/2 cup Frank's RedHot Buffalo Wings Sauce
- 8 ounces sharp cheddar, shredded
- 3/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1/2 cup plain bread crumbs
