- 2 cups water
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen corn
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
- 7 corn tortillas
- vegetable oil

Slow Cooker Baby Back Ribs

- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup cream (or another cup of milk)
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons salt, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional to taste)
- Cooked ham (3 cups), or bacon (about 1 lb, cooked), etc. (optional if you wish to serve as a main dish)
