This is perfect rub for slow cooking your pork
- # 4 heaping tbsp brown sugar

Chicken and Mushroom Stew

The thighs of a chicken are my favourite cut
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 8 chicken thighs
- 1 pound of cremini or button mushrooms, cut into quarters
- 2 Portobello mushrooms, sliced
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1 cup of chicken stock
- 1 cup of wine, red or white, your choice
- salt and pepper
Smackaroni and Cheese

A lighter version of Macaroni and Cheese
- * 1 tablespoon butter
- * 2/3 cup minced onions
- * 4 ounces (120 g) turkey bacon, chopped (about 7 slices)
- * 1 cup finely chopped shiitake mushrooms
- * 1/2 cup frozen sweet green peas
- * 1 can (14 oz/380 mL) 2% evaporated milk
- * 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- * 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard powder
- * 1 cup packed shredded light old (sharp) cheddar cheese (4 oz/120 g)
- * 1 cup packed shredded 4-cheese blend (4 oz/120 g; see Tip)
- * Freshly ground black pepper
- * 2 cups uncooked whole wheat macaroni
Buffalo Chicken Wing Salad with Blue Cheese

- 2 chicken breasts, cut into chunks
- 1/4 cup flour

- 1 batch Spicy Chicken Sauce (recipe from this episode)
- 1 head of romaine lettuce, washed and sliced
- 2 ribs celery, washed and cut into sticks
- Juice of 1 lemon
