Preheat oven to 400F. Cook bacon, retain drippings
- Egg, fresh, 3 large
- Bacon, 4 medium slices, cooked
- Cheddar Cheese, 1 cup, shredded
- Milk, 2%, 1 cup
- Flour, whole grain, 1 cup
- Corn Meal 1/2 cup (had to put corn grits in original recipe list)
- Baking Powder, 2.5 tsp
- Salt, 1 tbsp
- Olive Oil, 0.8 cup
- Butter, salted, 1 tbsp
- Bacon grease, 1 tsp
- Sugar, 1 tsp

- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups finely crushed vanilla wafer crumbs
- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin

- 6 tablespoons pre-sweetened lemonade flavor drink crystal
Curried Butternut Squash and Apple Soup

In a heavy large saucepan or Dutch oven, combine onions, celery, margarine and curry powder
- 1/4 cup reduced fat margarine
- 2 cups chopped onion
- 1 rib celery
- 4 teaspoons curry powder
- 2 medium butternut squash (about 2 1/2 to 3 pounds) peeled, seeded and cut into cubes
- 3 medium apples, peeled, cored and chopped
- 3 cups water (can substitute with chicken stock or vegetable broth)
- 1 cup cider

- 2 2 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour (I use spelt)
- 2/3 2/3 2/3 cup rapadura (or you can use brown sugar)
- 1-1/4 1-1/4 1-1/4 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1 1 cup finely chopped dried fruit (apricots, raisins,
- dates, figs, cranberries, etc. Mixtures are fun, and the
- food processor is great for this.)
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup honey
- 1 1 1 cup virgin coconut oil
- 1 1 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 2 2 tablespoons hot water

- 3 3. Melt 3. Melt honey and coconut oil together. Butter sub for oil.
- 4 4. Mix to baking soda with hot water and add to coconut oil mixture.
- 5 5. Pour 5. Pour coconut oil mixture into dry ingredients, add eggs and mix well.
