Spicy Honey-Brushed Chicken Thighs

Ricotta Dip for Vegetables

Put the garlic cloves in a microwave safe bowl and cover with plastic wrap
- 4 medium garlic cloves, skin on
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3 sprigs flat leaf parsley (1/4 cup leaves)

- 2 cups pretzels (I use the gluten-free kind)
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup flour (I use gluten-free baking flour)
- 3 teaspoons kosher salt

- 1 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves, ground up in your hand (optional)*

- 1 small onion, minced (about 1/3 cup)

Garlic-and-Greens Spaghetti

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil
- 16 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 medium onions, halved and sliced
- 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes, or more to taste
- Kosher salt
- 12 cups torn winter greens, such as kale, chard, escarole or mustard greens (about 2 1/2 pounds)
- 12 ounces spaghetti
- 1/4 cup grated pecorino romano cheese
Gingerbread

- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 3/4 tsp ground ginger
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda

- 1/2 cup butter or shortening
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup molasses

Slow Cooker Sweet and Sour Pork

- 3 cups cubed peeled potatoes (Idaho or Yukon gold)
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 3 pound pork roast, trimmed

- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 cups (about 10 ounces) cipollini onions, peeled and halved, or quartered if large
