- 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, softened ( I generally use salted and skip the salt)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1 1/2 cups of flour
- 1/4 tsp salt (if using salted butter omit this)
- 2 tsp baking powder
