BEET AND GORGONZOLA GREEN SALAD

BEETS: Wash beets, coat with olive oil
- SHERRY VINEGAR DRESSING:
- Green Lettuce (2/3 of salad greens)
- Watercress (1/3 of salad greens)
- Fresh French green beans
- Gorgonzola or Stilton cheese
- Orange segments
- Toasted almond slivers
- Cooked beets
- 1 pt vinegar
- 3 pt olive oil
- Minced shallots or garlic
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
DUMPLINGS (Bisquick)

1. Stir ingredients until soft dough forms 2
- 2 cups Bisquick
- 2/3 cup milk
BROCCOLI QUICHE

Mix all ingredients and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes in a 9 inch pie pan
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup Swiss cheese (shredded)
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1 cup of cottage cheese (small curd)
- 1/4 tsp salt & pepper
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 or 2 short shots of Tabasco
- 1 (14 oz) bag of broccoli florets (cook separate & chop)
LEMON DROP MARTINI

Mix ingredients
- 2 ounces vodka
- 1/2 ounce triple sec
- 1/2 ounces sweet and sour mix
- 3 Tbsp simple syrup
- 1/2 fresh mudded lemon
SWISS BUTTERHORNS

In a large bowl, combine flour and salt
- DOUGH:
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cold margarine
- 1/3 cup cold butter
- 1 egg yolk
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- FILLING:
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1/2 cup sugar (may also use brown sugar)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- GLAZE (optional):
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp milk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
BROCCOLI GRAPE SALAD

Mix together dressing ingredients
- DRESSING:
- 1 head lettuce
- 1 bunch broccoli tops
- Dried cranberries
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 cup red grapes
- 1 cup green grapes
- 1 lb bacon, fried crisp and crumbled.
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Apple cider vinegar
Fudge Brownies

One pan brownies
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 squares (2 oz) unsweetened chocolate
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup nuts (optional)
Popcorn Balls

In big bowl, add popcorn and peanuts
- SYRUP INGREDIENTS:
- 4 batches popcorn (un-popped kernels removed)
- 1 cup unsalted peanuts (optional)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup Karo Syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1/4 cup butter or Fleischmann's margarine
