In a 1- to 1 1/2-quart pan, bring 1 1/2 cups water, sugar, salt, ginger, bay leaves, and allspice to a boil

  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. salt

  • Heat til near boiling the fo0llowing:
  • Grate 1 1/2 bars longhorn cheese
  • 1 can cream chicken soup
  • 1/4 can water
  • 1 small can diced green chiles
  • (you can also add chopped leftover chicken if you want)
  • Chopped green onions
  • 1 pint sour cream.
