Simple Sugar Scrub

- Basic Recipe
- 1 cup of oil (olive,coconut or almond)
- 2 cups of sugar
- 1 glass jar or mason jar that will hold approx 1 1/2 cups (or smaller jars or tins) Just be sure they have a nice seal and are clean.
- optional additives
- lemon zest
- lime zest
- orange zest
- vanilla extract
- cinnamon
- nutmeg
- cloves
- ginger
- allspice
Grilled Chicken Tortilla Soup with Tequila Crema

Put the vegetable oil, tequila, lime juice, chipotle pepper, cumin, chili powder, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper...
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 ounces silver tequila
- 2 limes, juiced
- 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon Mexican oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- 4 chicken thighs, bone-in, skin removed
- 1 jalapeno, roasted and minced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder, plus some for dust tortilla strips
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 8 cups chicken stock, make sure this is stock, not broth (recommended: Kitchen Essentials)
- 1 (14.5-ounce) can crushed fire roasted tomatoes (recommended: Muir Glen)
- 1 lime, zested and juiced
- 1 corn tortilla, cut into strips
- 2 1/2 cups vegetable oil, for frying
- 8 corn tortillas, cut into strips
- 1 teaspoon salt, plus more for seasoning
- Pinch chili powder
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons tequila
- 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 Hass avocado, halved, pitted and flesh diced
- 1/2 bunch cilantro, leaves roughly chopped
- Lime wedges, for garnish
MONKEY BREAD - BEST EVER

Right before going to bed, or 10 pm, sprinkle pecans or walnuts into a greased Bundt pan, (I use Pam cooking spray)...
- 24 Frozen Rhodes Rolls (dinner rolls)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 box butterscotch cook & serve dry pudding mix not instant
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 stick butter, (not margerine)
- pecans or walnuts, chopped, optional
STUFFED ITALIAN FRYING PEPPERS

Italian Frying Peppers are light green in color, thin-skinned, long and pointed
- 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. Italian frying peppers
- 1 1/4 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 2-3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp each oregano and basil (fresh is best - if using dry, reduce amount to 1/4 tsp)
- 2-3 cloves finely minced garlic.
- pinch of rubbed sage
- 3-4 anchovies (or to taste)
- 1 green onion or shallot, minced (optional)
Chopped Israeli Salad

Preparation 1. Place all ingredients in a large bowl, stirring to combine
- 2 cups diced cucumber
- 2 cups diced tomato
- 1 cup diced orange bell pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 5/8 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Mango, Avocado and Black Bean Salad

Directions Wash and dry lettuce, then chop or tear into 2 inch pieces and divide into 6 bowls or plates
- 15 oz. canned, no-salt-added black beans (1 can), drained, rinsed
- 15.25 oz. canned, no-salt-added or low-sodium whole kernel corn (1 can), drained, rinsed
- 1 cup avocado (1 medium or 2 small), halved, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 2 mangos (about 2 cups), cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 2 green onions, cut into 1/2-inch pieces OR
- 1/2 small red or white onion (about 1/4 cup), cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 red or green bell pepper, seeded, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 or 1/2 jalapeño pepper, stems discarded, seeded, finely chopped, optional
- 3 Tbsp. fresh or bottled lime juice
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Hot Crab Dip

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Mix all ingredients with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended
- 2 pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
- 2 cans (6 oz. each) crabmeat, drained, flaked
- 1/2 cup KRAFT Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 2 Tbsp. dry white wine
- 1 Tbsp. KRAFT Horseradish Sauce
- 1 tsp. hot pepper sauce
