marinated broccoli salad

Mix dressing and add to broccoli and place in fridge till use
- 4 cups broccoli
- 2 onions- cut into rings
- 4 medium carrots- sliced
- 1 cup black olives- sliced
- 3/4 cup walnuts
- 1 jar pimentos
- 8 oz. italian dressing
- 1 tsp. sugar
Buttery Yeast Rolls

Place all ingredients except the 1/4 cup butter into bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup butter or 1/3 cup margarine, softened
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour ( NOT bread flour!)
- 1 package dry yeast ( 2 1/4 tsp)
- 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine

1. Sift together all the coating ingredients and place in a clean plastic bag
Spinach Salad

Tear spinach and lettuce into bite sized pieces and layer with onion and hard cooked egg white in a salad bowl
- 1/2 lb. spinach
- 1/2 head iceberg lettuce
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
- 1 slivered hard cooked egg white
- yolk saved for vinaigrette
Roasted Red Potatoes with Bacon& Cheese

- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1/2 cup shredded italian style five cheese blend
- 1/4 cup bacon bits
- 2 lb. small red potatoes, quartered (about 6 cups)
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
Baked Beef Stew

In a large bowl, combine the tomatoes, water, tapioca, sugar, salt, and pepper
- 1 can 14 1/2 oz. diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 cup water
- 3 Tbsp. quick-cooking tapioca
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 pounds lean beef stew meat, cut into 1" cubes
- 4 medium carrots, cut into 1" chunks
- 3 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 2 celery ribs, cut into 3/4" chunks
- 1 medium onion, cut into chunks
- 1 slice bread, cubed

- 1 jar peanut butter

cook macaroni according to package directions
- 2 1/2 cupsuncooked elbow macaroni
- 1 lb. bulk italian sausage
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 can pizza sauce
- 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 3 1/2 pkg sliced pepperoni halved
- 1 jar sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 can sliced ripe olives, drained
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Fudgy Chocolate Wafers

Preheat oven to 325F degrees
- 1 18.25-ounce box Dark Fudge Cake Mix
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup shortening (no substitution)
- 3 tablespoons hot water
